A man was robbed at gunpoint on Memorial Day weekend 2019 after authorities say he went to a home expecting to meet a woman for sex. 30-year-old Sandra Medina and Wilmer Prudente, 22, were arrested in this case. Sadly, Sandra had her own kids in the house the crime was committed at.
The crime happened at a home on Crismark Drive, Indian Trail NC around 3:30 a.m. on May 25. The 27-year-old male victim had allegedly arranged to meet Sandra at the home to have sex in exchange for money.
When the victim arrived, he messaged Sandra and was told to come inside. Once he entered the home, Wilmer of Concord robbed the victim at gunpoint.
Wilmer reportedly told the victim that Sandra was his “girl” and he would shoot him if he ever came back.
Sandra had rented the upstairs portion of the home, where she and Wilmer were found. Sandra’s three children were also inside the home at the time of their arrest, according to officials.
The Union County Sheriff says they also found a trafficking amount of heroin along with methamphetamine, marijuana and an AR-15 style .22 rifle during a search of the home.
Sandra and Wilmer face multiple charges, including Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, and several drug related offenses.
