Alani Blake, 19, was shot while she was pregnant on Beatties Ford Road Charlotte, NC. Alani was able to give birth to the baby girl victim after the shooting.
Alani was in the parking lot of a strip-mall shopping center when she was shot. Paramedics responded and transported the victim to Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center where hospital staff delivered her baby.
Both Alani and her child have life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
