66-year-old billionaire Jeffrey Epstein was arrested today on charges of sex trafficking of minors in New York and Florida. Mr. Epstein is a stock market tycoon and former hedge fund manager.
Jeffrey was arrested in New York and is in federal custody. Mr. Epstein faces one count of sex trafficking of minors and one count of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of minors.
Jeffrey was accused of similar crimes years ago, but Jeffrey never faced any harsh punishment.
In 2007 and 2008 Epstein was accused of paying underage girls for sexual massages in Florida. Jeffrey was allowed to plead guilty to lesser state charges of soliciting prostitution which resulted in a 13 month jail sentence. Financial settlements were also given to dozens of his victims. Epstein also had to register as a sex offender.Billionaire Robert Kraft, who owns the NFL New England Patriots was arrested this year on prostitution charges.
