On July 25, 2019 officers were on an attempt to locate call for 19-year-old Ahvion Butler, he had outstanding warrants. Several officers sped into the Heather Ridge apartments on Meadow Vista Road looking to arrest Ahvion. A long standoff then ensued, causing concern for area neighbors and residents.
After the immense and rather tense standoff, Ahvion was arrested for outstanding warrants.
Ahvion’s charges on the day of arrest include marijuana possession and carrying a concealed gun.
