Tebian Ruff, 27, was arrested and charged with an armed robbery at the Epi-Center club and entertainment complex at 210 East Trade Street Charlotte, NC.
Late night on July 26, 2019 officers responded to the Insomnia Cookies located inside the Epi-Center in reference to an armed robbery at the Insomnia Cookies business located inside of the Epi-Center.
Tebian is accused of entering the Insomnia Cookies and getting into a verbal dispute with the manager. Tebian allegedly then pulled out a firearm and stated that he was robbing the business.
Tebian then left the business. Responding officers located Tebian inside of the business Rocket Fizz which is also inside of the Epi-Center. A gun was found on the suspect’s possession, it was discovered that the firearm was stolen.
Tebian was charged with the following:
Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Firearm by Felon, Possession of Stolen Firearm, Possession of Marijuana, Resist/Delay/Obstruct Officer.
