Two women abandoned a kid as they stole merchandise from Northlake mall in Charlotte, NC.
Two suspects are wanted after allegedly being involved in a child neglect and larceny at Northlake Mall at 6801 Northlake Mall Drive. Surveillance photos show the women allegedly stealing.
On September 24, 2019, at noon, a good Samaritan contacted police after locating a 2-year-old male child wandering barefoot in 88 degree temperatures alone in the mall parking lot. The suspects entered a retail store and concealed merchandise in shopping bags and then passed all points of sale to exit.
One of the suspects took the child from the witness before entering a vehicle. Officers attempted to make contact with the suspects but they fled the scene in a mint green Chrysler 300 with a temporary paper tag in the rear back window. Very classy ladies.
One of the suspects was identified as 27-year-old Resa Washington, she has a low haircut. The other female was not identified.
