37-year-old Fidel Camarena Dominguez is the former track coach at Rosemead High School in Rosemead, CA. In September 2019 Fidel pleaded no contest to having a long-term sexual relationship with a female student, beginning when the victim was 14 years old.
The victim came forward in February 2019.
When Fidel was a coach he had sex with the female student from February 2015 to June 2017. Fidel would pick the victim up on the weekends and drive her to his home to have sex.
Fidel entered the plea on two counts of lewd act upon a child 14 or 15. Fidel was immediately sentenced to three years in state prison for his plea. The defendant also has to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
