Jasmine Kelly, 19, is charged with a hit and run accident that left a 35-year-old woman suffering with life threatening injuries.
On October 24, 2019 Jasmine was arrested and charged with felony hit and run and filing a false police report due to her allegedly reporting her vehicle was stolen after the crash.
On October 23, 2019 a hit and run motor vehicle collision involving a 35-year-old female pedestrian occurred on Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC. A red Infinity G35 was traveling in the right lane when it struck the female pedestrian while she was crossing the road.
The red Infinity G35 failed to stop at the scene. The victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
During the investigation, detectives were able to identify the driver of the red Infiniti G35 as Jasmine Kelly and arrested her.
