Kehlan Johnson is charged in a shooting which left one victim seriously injured in Charlotte, NC.
On October 21, 2019, a man was shot on East W T Harris Boulevard.
The victim was a passenger of a Nissan sedan. A shooting erupted that allegedly involved Kehlan firing a gun at the victim. Kehlan was also a occupant of the Nissan vehicle.
Upon the shooting Kehlan is accused of fleeing on foot. Once emergency personnel responded to the scene, the victim was transported to the hospital by medics with life-threatening injuries.
A CMPD Canine Unit responded to the scene to search for any suspects, but none were located.
Kehlan was arrested on October 24, 2019 and charged with attempted first degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
