TEEN KILLED AFTER GUN GOES OFF, SUSPECT CHARGED WITH INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER

24-year-old Brian Waddell is accused of accidentally killing 18-year-old Michael Stephens in Concord, NC on January 20, 2020.

The two were friends. A gun accidentally went off and killed Michael. The shooting happened just after 3 a.m. at a house on Brooknell Court, just off Pitts School Road and Concord Parkway.

Michael had been shot in a bedroom upstairs and taken to the hospital by people who were there at the time of the shooting. He later died from his injuries.

Brian has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.
