38-year-old Stephen Atkinson and 37-year-old Heather Smith have been criminally charged with stealing from Conbraco Industries in Matthews, NC on April 6, 2020.
It was reported from business’s management that someone was seen on the surveillance system in a secure gated area of the business loading material into a car around 2 a.m. Upon arrival, officers observed a man and woman with their vehicle inside of the secured area with the hatch open containing approximately $2,000 worth of stolen material.
Both suspects were arrested.
Stephen was charged with Felony Larceny, First Degree Trespass Enter or Remain and Simple Possession of a Schedule III Narcotic (Pills). Heather was charged with Felony Larceny and First Degree Trespass Enter or Remain.
Heather also had three outstanding warrants for Misdemeanor Larceny, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Methamphetamine.
