Phillip Viney, 19, was charged in a shooting that occurred in Charlotte, NC.
On May 11, 2020 at approximately 5:23 p.m., a shooting into an occupied dwelling took place on Morrowood Lane. Officers located a vehicle in the driveway that was struck by gunfire, as well as an occupied home.
The preliminary investigation indicates an altercation occurred between several subjects prior to the shooting. On May 12, 2020 Phillip was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Shooting into Occupied Dwelling and Damage to Property.
Just one day later, several people were shot in Charlotte in separate cases.
