Jonathan Estrada, 23, is charged with the murder of Yahir Valdez, 17. The victim was shot and killed on September 27, 2020 on North Tryon Street Charlotte, NC.
On October 15, 2020, a police motorcycle unit was conducting traffic enforcement and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle Estrada was driving.
After learning that Estrada had outstanding warrants, he was placed under arrest and transported to the Law Enforcement Center. After being interview by Homicide Unit detectives, Estrada was transferred to jail custody and charged with Murder and Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
