MULTIPLE AGENCIES SHUT DOWN STASH HOUSE FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

On December 9, 2020 The Department of Homeland Security and other law enforcement agencies shut down a stash house in Laredo, Texas. 

The incident occurred during the late afternoon when agents acted on information of suspicious activity at a home. A search of the residence resulted in the discovery of 36 individuals. They were determined to be illegally in the United States from the countries of Mexico, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. 

All of the individuals were medically screened at the scene. Most of the individuals were not wearing any personal protective equipment. Special Agents of Homeland Security Investigations took them into custody pending investigation.
