On March 20, 2021 there was a violent shooting at North Lake Mall in Charlotte, NC. A fight broke out between several people and several shots soon followed. The shooting was near the movie theater inside the mall.
The mall was crowded due to millions of people in America receiving a $1,400 stimulus check during the Coronavirus pandemic relief efforts.
Thousands of people were seen running out of the mall in complete chaos. Several people were hurt during the exits.
