MAN CHARGED WITH MURDERING HIS 7-YEAR-OLD NIECE, SHE WAS SHOT IN THE HEAD

7-year-old Gabrielle Jones was shot and killed on April 13, 2021 allegedly by her uncle Jeremy Lewis during a rap video in Gastonia, NC.

The shooting was at a home. A warrant states that Jeremy was filming a music video when he was handed a gun by someone. Jeremy is accused of firing the gun, causing the bullet to go through a wall in the house and striking his niece Gabrielle. She was shot in the head. Jeremy had blood all over his clothing.

Gabrielle was air lifted to Levine Children’s Hospital where she died from her injuries.

Several people were filming the rap video and there were multiple real and fake firearms being used for the video. Jeremy is charged with second degree murder, possession of a firearm by a felon, and discharging a weapon into occupied property.
