UNC CHARLOTTE STUDENTS KILLED IN CAMPUS SHOOTING HAD BRIGHT FUTURES

21-year-old Riley Howell and 19-year-old Ellis Parlier were both killed on campus at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The two young promising men were shot to death by an active campus shooter identified as 22-year-old Trystan Terrell.

Riley, Ellis, and Trystan were all students at UNC Charlotte.

On April 30, 2019 Trystan went to a building on campus armed with a pistol, it was there that Trystan killed Riley and Ellis. Trystan also shot four more people, but they survived and were hospitalized.

Trystan claimed that he was angry about one of his professors, the situation provoked him to carry out the shooting.

Ellis was a Computer Science major and had aspirations to become a game developer.

Riley was a Environmental Studies major who transferred from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College. Riley played soccer, ran cross country, and loved the movie Star Wars.
