SHOOTOUT ENDS IN QUIK TRIP GAS STATION, STARTED AT McDONALDS

On July 6, 2019 several minutes after midnight four people were shot at the McDonalds located at 3058 Eastway Drive Charlotte, NC.

Two passengers, a male and a female, were inside a ride-share service vehicle, along with the driver, in the parking lot of the McDonalds. While they were in the parking lot they were approached by two males, both of which were armed with handguns. 

The male passenger in the ride-share vehicle and both of the subjects who walked up to the car began shooting at each other. The ride-share driver was grazed in the hand by a bullet. The female passenger seated in the ride-share vehicle was shot and received a life-threatening injury. 

Both of the individuals who had approached the vehicle were also shot. The ride-share driver with his passengers drove to the Quik Trip gas station at 3206 Eastway Drive, while the other two subjects then fled the scene in a silver passenger car and later arrived at Presbyterian Hospital.
