Jurkeith Peterson, 29, was found dead in a Charlotte, NC motel room on Easter Sunday April 4, 2021. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
In the afternoon hours officers responded to a welfare check 911 call at a motel located on Queen City Drive. Upon arrival, officers found Jurkeith in one of the rooms. Medic responded to the scene and pronounced Jurkeith deceased.
At this time there is no indication what caused Jurkeith’s death.
