BOJANGLES EMPLOYEE INFECTED WITH CORONAVIRUS, RESTAURANT SHUTS DOWN TEMPORARILY

A Bojangles employee has the Coronavirus as of July 2, 2020. The infected employee works at the Bojangles on 1402 West Trade St. Charlotte, NC. Out of an abundance of caution, the Bojangles has been temporarily closed.

Bojangles corporate says the restaurant will be deep cleaned, sanitized, and professionally disinfected. All precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the well-being of team members and guests.

Bojangles employees and local health officials have been notified. No re-opening date has been determined at this time.

According to the company website, employees undergo wellness checks before work, and must wear masks and gloves. Plexiglas shields have been installed at all drive-thrus. Sick employees are prohibited from reporting to work.
