WOMAN KILLED IN TRAFFIC AFTER BEING HIT BY CAR

On November 30, 2023 Lisa Pettis, 57, was killed on The Plaza Rd. Charlotte, NC. Lisa leaves behind adult children. 

The fatal crash was on November 30th at approximately 12:03 a.m. The preliminary investigation indicates Lisa was attempting to cross the street when she was struck by a Hyundai vehicle. 

Lisa was not in a crosswalk.

Officers responded to the motor vehicle crash with injury involving the pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers located Lisa seriously injured. 

Paramedics transported Lisa to Atrium Health Main Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Hyundai will not face charges.
