Steven Gomez Mendoza, 15, was shot and killed on February 12, 2023 Charlotte, NC.
Steven was at a relatives home on Coriander Court. Steven was playing video games with other friends and family. Someone in the room was playing with a gun and the gun accidentally shot Steven.
Steven died at the scene. No arrests are expected. Steven was a freshman at Independence High School.
