Another student at Myers Park has died, several students at the school have committed suicide
On November 11, 2025 William South died in Charlotte, NC. His nickname was Parker and he attended Myers Park High School where he was in his senior year of school.
William played baseball at Myers Park, he was a senior. He had a few offers to play baseball in college, although he did not make a choice as to what college he wanted to attend.
William died via unknown means. No foul play is suspected. But multiple Myers Park students and staff members have killed themselves.
William was known by his friends for his loyalty and engaging personality.
Counselors will be available tomorrow and in the coming weeks to address students’ emotional needs and provide grief counseling. The Myers Park school Wellness Center will be open and available at any time during the school day for students and staff to grieve William’s death.
